Showtime’s Billions has returned for a second season and it is bringing with it an all-new power struggle between two groups of powerful people. Find out in this article what to expect from the Season 5, Part 2 of Billions.

What’s new in Billions Season 5, Part 2?

Netflix’s Billions season 5 is back with new episodes! In this season, we see the return of some fan-favorite characters as well as some new faces.

The biggest change in this season is the addition of a new character played by Alicia Witt. She joins the show in the second half of the season and quickly becomes a major player.

Another major change is that Paul Giamatti’s character, Chuck Rhoades, is now working for the government. This puts him at odds with Damian Lewis’s character, Bobby Axelrod.

There are also plenty of new guest stars this season, including Mary-Louise Parker, Jeff Daniels, and John Malkovich.

Billions season 5 is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing. If you’re a fan of the show, you won’t want to miss it!

Billions season 5 part 2 release date

Netflix’s Billions season 5 part 2 will be released on May 3, 2020. The show’s official Twitter account announced the release date with a new teaser trailer.

The trailer doesn’t give much away, but it does hint at the continued rivalry between Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti). The two men have been locked in an epic battle for years, and it doesn’t seem like either one is ready to back down.

Billions season 5 part 2 will consist of 10 episodes, just like the first half of the season. If you’re looking for something to binge-watch this weekend, you can start with Billions season 5 part 1, which is already available on Netflix.

Chris Noth as Fixed Income Manager

Chris Noth joins the cast of Billions in season four as a fixed income manager. He is brought in to help manage the finances of a struggling hedge fund. However, his true motives are soon revealed, and he becomes embroiled in the world of high finance.

Noth’s character is a complex one, and he brings a lot of depth to the role. He is both charming and manipulative, and he is not afraid to take risks. His performance is sure to be one of the highlights of the new season.

What were the major themes and plotlines of Billions Season 5, Part 2?

The second half of Billions Season 5 was all about the fallout from the first half. The major themes were betrayal, revenge, and power.

The plotlines revolved around Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) as they continued to battle each other. In the end, Bobby emerged victorious, but at what cost?

There were also a number of subplots involving the other characters in the show. These included Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff) dealing with her husband’s infidelity, Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon) struggling with their new role as a hedge fund manager, and Lara Axelrod (Malin Akerman) trying to keep her family together.

Overall, Billions Season 5, Part 2 was another great season of television. The show continues to be one of the best on TV and is definitely worth watching.

Conclusion

The second part of Billions season 5 is now available on Netflix, and it does not disappoint. With the addition of new characters and plenty of twists and turns, the show continues to be one of the most addicting and entertaining dramas on television. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend you start from the beginning so that you can fully appreciate all that this season has to offer.
