1. Travel by reading

The first way to travel with the mind clearly books. Reading one travels to different historical times, to future eras or to distant environments. We find ourselves in the characters and knowledge and consciences are expanded.

Reading books is one of the things most naturally close to a real journey, it makes you know everything about an era and a place. Unleash your imagination and let you interact with the characters, even if only virtually a journey along with a book. But there are not only books.

2. Ouesto

Questo is an urban entertainment exploration application that offers walking around the most anticipated places around the world. It loved by travelers who are not only like to explore around the world but discover interesting places within a city and solve riddles to go into depth.

Questo is not just a travel exploration app but it’s a different way to know a city, as in this exploration app users have to solve a few riddles with clues to explore the next location, which is fun at the same time.

If you want to discover new places and feel like an explorer, then this app will be exciting for you to travel to new places experience the unknowns, and own your discovery.

The Qesto exploration app has up to 125 quests from 50 cities around the world but it’s gradually growing. Besides exploring the modern cities, it targets different audiences and age groups. While children can learn from educational quests, adults can experience the haunted places around the world, currently, it has 20 haunted quests.

3. Google street view

Surely you have already thought about it. For us, Google’s street view has quickly become an indispensable tool. We use it every time we have to plan our trips and we often use it directly via Google Maps. This is because in real-time we can realize how the roads are placed if there are parking spaces if there are restaurants or petrol stations around our hotel. Fast and immediate.

Another story is Google’s street view application. We did not even know of its existence but for a few days, it has become a fundamental resource to counter the fiduciary isolation from coronavirus. The thing we like about this app is the ability to download images to our smartphones so that we can better remember the places we have virtually visited.

In addition to monuments, cities, ports, beaches, and university campuses, here you have the opportunity to visit the interiors of shopping centers, outlets, and even sea beds, woods, glaciers. In short, there really is something for everyone!

And if you have a passion for photography, you can contribute too, taking 360° spherical photos with your smartphone. It is fun and you will help other travelers and enthusiasts who use the app.
